Goldmark Development, the commercial real estate division of one of the Fargo-Moorhead area's largest property management firms, is planning to renovate and move into the first floor space last occupied by Grazie's Italian Restaurant and Grill. Grazie's closed in the summer of 2018.

The permit application calls for a $1.8 million renovation to the existing space, which is in excess of 4,000-square-feet. The project calls for some demolition as well as installation of new walls, ceilings and floors.

The permit application was submitted Monday, Dec. 28, and passed initial reviews Thursday, Dec. 31. Fargo-based construction firm Rice Companies is listed as the contractor for the project. The application has yet to pass final city approval.

Long known as the Multiband Tower, the building changed its name when Perficient, a St. Louis-based digital consulting firm, acquired Sundog Interactive, a local digital marketing and technology firm. The building was subsequently rebranded as the Perficient Tower. Perficient (NASDAQ: PRFT) has 25 North American locations in addition to overseas locations in China, Colombia, India, Serbia and the United Kingdom.

A representative from Goldmark could not be reached to discuss the project.
