New restaurant brings 65 jobs to Florence

New restaurant brings 65 jobs to Florence

FLORENCE S.C. (WPDE) — Freddy's Frozen Custards and Steakburgers opened this week on Pamplico Highway in Florence.

The restaurant created 65 new jobs in the community, according to officials.

The eatery has been busy all week with cars going in and out of the parking lot.

A police officer had to direct traffic in the parking lot Wednesday because it was so many cars.

Some people said it's nice to have another restaurant on the south side of Florence where more homes are being built and businesses opening up.
