A cat cafe is opening in Northern Kentucky this Friday.

Purrfect Day Cafe Louisville is expanding to Covington, where customers can meet adoptable cats while sipping on coffee or cocktails.

Purrfect Day Café serves up a variety of coffee, wine, beer and cocktails as well as sweet and savory treats. Customers can enjoy a drink or treat before or after meeting a new furry friend.

Customers can come early for a drink or stay and adopt one of the friendly felines. The cats and kittens are provided by the Kenton County Animal Shelter.

Those who visit the cafe are allowed 50 minutes with the cats to play, cuddle and sip. There is a visitation fee of $15.

Visitors should arrive about 15 minutes early to learn about the cats and grab something to drink or eat and then get ready for the experience.

The cafe will also be available for private pawties and events.
